Job Description

As an Officer - Environment at Adani Group, your main responsibility will be to review and ensure environmental compliance for ongoing and upcoming projects. This will involve managing Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports, coordinating with site teams and external consultants, and ensuring alignment with environmental regulations and project timelines. Key Responsibilities: - Implement OHS policies and procedures in allocated MPT area. - Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, internal HSE standards, and management audit requirements. - Provide strong support to ensure understanding, assessment, and reduction of OHS related risks. - Conduct OHS audits and inspections across allocated areas as per guidelines. - Implement and monitor safety working procedures to control risks. - Review OHS requirements for contracts, projects, and MOC with respective stakeholders. - Conduct training to create OHS awareness and build competencies. - Maintain OHS MIS, documentation, and records. - Support in the incident investigation process and ensure CAPA compliance. Qualifications: - Educational Qualification: - BSc/ BE / B. Tech in any stream - Diploma in Safety / Safety Engineering from State Council or from a reputed institute. Work Experience: - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the EHS field. - Experience in a good, reputed organization (preferably large scale) handling people & process complexity. - Working knowledge of safety management, behavior safety, etc. - Demonstrated organizational, communication, research, and analytical skills.
