Job Purpose:

Administrative and HR functions

Key Responsibilities: -

1. Administration Management: -

  • Oversee plant facilities including Housekeeping, Security, Pantry / Canteen, Guest, Transportation and maintenance.
  • Facilitating plant visits and induction programs for students from colleges and universities, as well as for domestic and international delegates.
  • Induction of new joiners
  • Manage vendor relationships and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Monitor and control administration budgets and costs as per Sanction Budget.
  • Support training needs identification and coordinate with L&D for execution internal or external as per the Business requirement.
  • Track attendance, leave and discipline for employees and contractual labour.
  • Handle disciplinary actions, grievances, and employee counseling.
  • MIS maintenance daily / weekly / fortnightly / Monthly

2. Contract Labor Management: -

  • Coordinate with labor contractors to ensure manpower supply as per the sanction manpower.
  • Monitor attendance, working hours and ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Handle wage settlements and timely payment processing.

3. Employee Engagement & Welfare: -

  • Organize employee welfare activities, cultural events and engagement programs.
  • Promote a positive work culture through communication and feedback mechanisms.
  • Conduct periodic employee satisfaction surveys and recommend action plans.

4. Compliance & Statutory Requirements: -

  • Ensure Factory Compliances along with labor laws (CLRA, Factories Act, ESI, PF, Minimum Wages, Payment of Wages, Gratuity, Bonus, Fire, Pollution, Legal Metrology, etc.).
  • Liaison with local government bodies, inspectors and legal authorities.
  • Maintain statutory records and prepare documentation for audits/inspections.
  • ISO / IMS Management.

Skills & Competencies: -

  • Strong knowledge of Administration systems and labor laws.
  • Leadership and people management skills.
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication.
  • Proficient in MS Office, SAP and HRMS systems.
  • Employee satisfaction / engagement scores
  • Reduction in grievances / disciplinary issues
  • Cost control in administration budget
