Job Title: Deputy Manager- O&M Rooftop Solar Location: Lucknow Department: Operations & Maintenance Experience Required: 7-10 years in Solar O&M (Rooftop Solar System) Job Summary: The O&M Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, maintenance, and performance monitoring of all rooftop solar PV systems. This role involves managing teams, coordinating with clients and vendors, minimizing downtime, and optimizing system performance across multiple sites. Key Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Operations Management: Monitor the performance of all installed rooftop solar PV plants (residential, commercial, industrial). Analyze system reports (via SCADA/remote monitoring tools) and troubleshoot underperforming sites. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports and KPI dashboards. 2. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Plan and implement scheduled preventive maintenance activities for all sites. Lead quick response for breakdowns or faults to minimize plant downtime. Ensure proper upkeep of spare parts inventory and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) planning. 3. Team & Vendor Coordination: Manage a team of site technicians and field engineers across multiple locations. Coordinate with EPC vendors, OEMs, and third-party service providers for issue resolution. Ensure all field staff follow standard safety and maintenance protocols. 4. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory norms (CEA, DISCOM, Electrical Inspector, etc.). Maintain complete service records, site logs, and audit trails for each installation. Assist in inspections and audits related to plant safety, quality, and performance. 5. Client Interface & SLA Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding system performance and issues. Ensure timely fulfillment of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for uptime, generation, and response times. Handle escalations and ensure proactive communication with stakeholders. 6. Performance Optimization: Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring faults and implement corrective actions. Recommend system upgrades or replacements when required for performance improvement. Optimize energy generation through data analysis and predictive maintenance techniques. Qualifications & Skills: Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or related field. Additional certifications in solar technology, SCADA, or maintenance management preferred. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in O&M of rooftop solar PV systems (3 years in managerial capacity preferred). Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters (string/central), SCADA systems, and power evacuation. Familiarity with remote monitoring tools (e.g., SolarEdge, Enphase, Tigo, etc.). Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools. Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and client handling ability. Willingness to travel and handle emergency field operations. KPIs / Performance Metrics: Uptime % across sites Generation Performance Ratio (PR) Response Time to Faults Client Satisfaction Score Maintenance Schedule Adherence Safety Compliance Record
