Deputy Manager - Learning and Development

You will be responsible for conducting annual training and development needs assessment, developing training programs and objectives, and administering spending against the departmental budget. Your role will involve obtaining or developing effective training materials using various media, and training and coaching managers, supervisors, and other employees involved in employee development efforts. Additionally, you will need to plan, organize, facilitate, and order supplies for employee development and training events. You will also be expected to develop and maintain organizational communications such as intranet bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure that employees are informed about training and development events and resources. Furthermore, you will conduct follow-up studies on completed training to evaluate and measure results, and modify programs as needed. It is essential to exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization and work effectively as a team member with other management and HR staff members. Qualifications Required: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong presentation skills - Proficiency with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods - Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives - Capability to design and implement effective training and development programs - MBA-HR - 8-10 years of experience in designing and implementing employee development programs - Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential preferred - SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred,
