Deputy Manager - Interface Engineer

As the Interface Manager, your role will involve managing overall interface activities within the project, ensuring quality control, management reporting, risk planning, and effective project governance. You will need to build and maintain relationships across various interfaces to achieve optimal performance outcomes. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing technical stewardship to a multi-disciplinary team from the engineering function. - Assimilating, organizing, and integrating information from various sources and effectively communicating with internal project teams and external stakeholders. - Acting as the focal point of contact with Customers Interface Manager, Project Manager, and Discipline Leads. - Ensuring timely receipt of input data from customers for project deliverables. - Reviewing and facilitating manpower planning and availability. - Ensuring quality adherence and system compliance. - Driving collaboration and delivery within the project. - Implementing change order management procedures effectively. - Utilizing manpower efficiently and ensuring quality delivery on time. - Identifying specific construction and installation needs. - Closing interfaces formally and obtaining approval from all parties before finalizing the design. - Monitoring, updating, and recording the status of interfaces. - Maintaining interface registers and coordinating with other disciplines to ensure adherence to interface agreements. - Producing standardized documents and regular reports for senior management and stakeholders. - Maintaining a collaborative approach across the team to facilitate planning and delivery of interface works. - Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships. - Assisting in the review and finalization of overall project schedules, progress monitoring, and expediting. Additionally, you will need the following qualifications: - Masters Degree or Bachelor's Degree with 12+ years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas Projects. - Broad project management experience with the ability to manage different processes and technical aspects of large projects.
