Deputy manager -HSE

• Implement and monitor plant-level

  HSE policies, procedures, and SOPs

  in line with statutory and corporate requirements.
• Conduct

  risk assessments, HIRA, JSA

  , and safety inspections; recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with

  Factories Act, OSHA guidelines

  , and applicable safety laws.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; conduct

  root cause analysis

  and implement CAPA.
• Organize and conduct

  safety trainings, toolbox talks, mock drills

  , and emergency response programs.
• Monitor contractor safety, including

  work permits, PPE usage, and safety inductions

  .

Environment Management

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to

  Air, Water, Hazardous & Solid Waste Management

  .
• Coordinate with external agencies for

  ETP/STP operations

  , emissions monitoring, and waste disposal.
• Prepare and submit environmental returns and maintain documentation as per

  PCB requirements

  .
• Drive initiatives for

  energy conservation, waste reduction, and sustainability

  .

Statutory & Audit Compliance

• Liaise with

  Factory Inspectorate, Pollution Control Board, Fire Department

  , and other statutory bodies.
• Support internal, external, and customer audits (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, GMP, EHS audits).
  
• Maintain statutory registers, licenses, permits, and compliance records.
  

Emergency & Fire Safety

• Develop and implement

  Emergency Response Plans (ERP)

  and Fire Safety systems.
• Coordinate fire safety audits, drills, and equipment maintenance.
  
• Act as a key member of the

  On-site Emergency Management Team

  .

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Prepare

  HSE MIS reports

  , safety dashboards, and KPI tracking for management review.
• Promote safety culture initiatives like

  Safety Week, Near-Miss Reporting, Behavior-Based Safety (BBS)

  .
• Lead continuous improvement projects related to workplace safety and environmental performance.
