Deputy Manager - Fabric Sourcing

As a Deputy Manager - Fabric Sourcing at House of Anita Dongre, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient sourcing of in-house fabrics for production processes in the fashion and apparel industry. Your responsibilities will include: - Having 8-10 years of experience in the fashion and apparel industry, with expertise in ethnic wear fabric sourcing - Demonstrating basic knowledge of fabric testing parameters such as count, construction, GSM, seam slippage, tearing, tensile strength, and color fastness - Understanding dyeing, printing of fabric, and chemicals - Proficiency in using Excel to create reports and trackers for all styles, preparing purchase orders, and sending them to suppliers on time - Maintaining fabric tracker, following up with mills daily, and providing accurate fabric status to the production team and garment vendors - Coordinating with garment production and design teams, and obtaining approvals for lab dips and strike-offs on a daily basis You should have a good understanding of women's wear fabrics like Rayon, Chanderi, Polyester, Cotton, Schiffli, Linen Cotton Flex, foil print, panel print, rotary print, and digital print, among others. Qualifications preferred for this role include a Diploma in Textile/B.Tech in Textile or any graduate in Supply Chain or related fields.
