Deputy Manager- Controllership

As Deputy Manager - Finance at Meesho, you will be part of a dynamic team of 50+ professionals specializing in Financial Reporting, Finance Operations, Business Finance, Treasury Management, and Taxation. You will be responsible for overseeing the company's treasury function, including liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, investment strategies, risk management, and banking relationships. Your role will involve managing the investment portfolio, developing and executing investment strategies aligned with the company's financial goals, and implementing hedging strategies to mitigate risk exposure. Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining accurate financial statements, guiding finance stakeholders on accounting treatments, automating subsidiary financial consolidation, coordinating external audits, collaborating with peer teams for reporting and analysis, implementing best practices for month-end closing, analyzing financial performance, and maintaining positive vendor relationships. To excel in this role, you should be a Chartered Accountant with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience, including audit experience in prominent firms and startups. You must possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and data analysis, along with proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems. Excellent communication skills, business partnering experience, critical thinking abilities, and a track record of innovative problem-solving are essential for success in this role.
