 Deputy Manager - Business Loans - DMS 
 About The Role  
The Deputy Manager - Business Loans - DMS will play a pivotal role in managing the business loan portfolio, driving loan processing efficiency, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. The incumbent will support the loan origination process, oversee documentation management systems (DMS), and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver superior client service.  Key Responsibilities 
  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end business loan process, from application to disbursement and post-disbursement monitoring.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry, document verification, and maintenance within the Document Management System (DMS).
  • Conduct credit analysis and preliminary risk assessment of loan applications, in line with company policies and regulatory norms.
  • Coordinate with sales, credit, legal, and operations teams to facilitate smooth loan processing and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Monitor loan portfolio performance and proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance requirements, internal policies, and external regulations related to business loans.
  • Prepare regular reports and MIS related to loan disbursement, approval rates, and portfolio quality.
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices for efficient loan processing and documentation management.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary loan documentation and process details.
  • Train, mentor, and guide junior team members as needed.

  •  Qualifications & Requirements 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business loan processing, credit analysis, or related financial services roles.
  • Strong knowledge of business loan products, credit assessment, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Proficiency in using Document Management Systems and loan management software.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy and confidentiality.

  •  Work Environment 
    The role is typically office-based, with opportunities to interact with clients and cross-functional teams. Occasional travel may be required for business meetings or training sessions.
