Job Description

Role Overview: As the Battery Management System (BMS) Development Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of the BMS. This includes defining requirements, selecting or developing hardware and firmware, managing suppliers, analyzing EMI/C requirements, confirming EV powertrain requirements, providing integration support, developing diagnostics, and resolving field issues. Additionally, you will be involved in concept definition and realization of the BMS. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the BMS development, including requirements definition and hardware selection - Develop BMS firmware and manage suppliers for development - Analyze EMI/C requirements and confirm EV powertrain requirements - Provide integration support in the battery pack and develop diagnostics - Support vehicle level testing and resolve field issues - Define concepts for KO gateway and realize BMS as for DR gateway Additional details about the company: N/A Qualifications Required: - M Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Mechatronics, or Electrical - 11-20 years of relevant experience in EV powertrain systems - Strong knowledge of EV powertrain system functionality and development - Proficiency in cell technology, battery management controller development, and software architecture - Familiarity with cell and pack modeling, functional safety, controls of vehicles, motors, and converters, and plant modeling and simulations - Understanding of technological advances in EV aggregates,
