As a candidate for the Security Lead position at Vedanta's Power Business, your role will involve collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to enhance intelligence and ensure proactive responses. You will be leading the Security team to ensure operational cohesion and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include assessing risks and threats to personnel, assets, and resources, and developing security solutions. Driving digital transformation by implementing automated security systems for real-time risk management will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will align security strategies with business goals, continuity plans, and secure social approvals for operations. Establishing and enforcing security policies, standards, and guidelines in compliance with laws and regulations is crucial. You will be responsible for developing and implementing security procedures to safeguard assets and maintain operational integrity. Conducting audits and compliance assessments, collaborating with Strategic Business Units (SBUs) to ensure regulatory adherence, will also be part of your responsibilities. Driving automation initiatives, internal and external benchmarking to identify areas of improvement, and ensuring the logistics security of raw material, including in-transit material, are vital aspects of the role. Qualifications and Experience: - Graduate with Defence/Police/Paramilitary services background - NCC C certificate with a minimum of 10 years of work experience - Proficiency in the local language (Telugu) is a must for this role.
