DEMI CHEF - Pastry/Bakery

As a dedicated team member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our guests at all times. Your primary goal will be to ensure that each guest receives courteous, professional, and efficient service that aligns with the hotel's policies. Your flexibility will be key as you may be rotated within various sub-departments of the Rooms division or other departments as needed. It will be your responsibility to provide the highest level of personalized service to guests, addressing any complaints or problems promptly and escalating them to supervisors when necessary. You will need to stay informed about hotel activities, ensure smooth handovers between shifts, and take appropriate actions based on pending points for follow-up. In addition to being well-versed in all hotel services, facilities, and promotions, you should be skilled in upselling techniques to enhance the guest experience. Balancing cash reports, performing opening and closing procedures, and obtaining necessary approvals for rebates and vouchers will also be part of your daily tasks. Keeping track of room allocations and fulfilling special guest requirements are integral to ensuring guest satisfaction. Maintaining high standards of grooming and hygiene, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and other departments, and providing full support to supervisors and the team will be essential components of your role. You will be responsible for welcoming guests warmly, ensuring their comfort throughout their stay, and creating memorable experiences that leave a lasting impression. Ideally, you should hold a degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel operations. Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are a must to excel in this position. Your ability to embody our purpose and interact with guests in a personalized manner will be key to your success in this role.,
