As a Demand Planner/S&OP professional from the FMCG industry, you have the opportunity to join Outsized's exclusive talent network for an upcoming Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) transformation project with a global consulting firm. The project aims to support a leading consumer products company in enhancing its planning processes to boost customer fill rates, optimize inventory, and enhance forecast accuracy throughout the value chain. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams and utilizing analytical tools to drive improvements in planning processes. **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for supporting the consulting team in analyzing current planning processes, designing and implementing enhanced S&OP processes, collaborating with different departments, improving forecasting accuracy, and participating in project management routines. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze current planning processes and identify key improvement levers across demand, supply, and inventory planning. - Design and implement enhanced S&OP processes to improve customer service levels and inventory management. - Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on planning objectives and execution. - Utilize analytical tools and methodologies to enhance forecasting accuracy and enable data-driven decision-making. - Partner with client and technology teams during the implementation of digital planning tools such as Kinaxis, supporting configuration, testing, and go-live activities. - Participate in project management routines including progress reviews, performance reporting, and issue resolution. **Qualifications Required:** - 5-12 years of experience in S&OP, demand/supply planning, or supply chain transformation, preferably within the FMCG sector. - Experience with planning tools such as Kinaxis, SAP IBP, o9, Anaplan, etc. is highly preferred. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools. - Prior experience working with top-tier consulting firms or in client-facing transformation programs is preferred. - MBA from a reputed institute with a focus on Supply Chain, Operations, or Strategy.
