Demand Supply Planner

Role Overview: Outsized, a high-growth disruptor in the talent economy, is seeking experienced Demand Planners / S&OP professionals from the FMCG industry to join their exclusive talent network for an upcoming Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) transformation project with a global consulting firm. The project involves supporting a leading consumer products company in overhauling its planning processes to enhance customer fill rates, inventory optimization, and forecast accuracy across its value chain. Key Responsibilities: - Support the consulting team in analyzing current planning processes and identifying key improvement levers across demand, supply, and inventory planning. - Design and implement enhanced S&OP processes to drive measurable improvements in customer service levels and inventory management. - Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on planning objectives and execution. - Utilize analytical tools and methodologies to enhance forecasting accuracy and facilitate data-driven decision-making. - Partner with client and technology teams during the implementation of digital planning tools (Kinaxis or similar), supporting configuration, testing, and go-live activities. - Participate in project management routines including progress reviews, performance reporting, and issue resolution. Qualifications Required: - 5-12 years of experience in S&OP, demand/supply planning, or supply chain transformation, preferably within the FMCG sector. - Experience with planning tools such as Kinaxis, SAP IBP, o9, Anaplan, etc. is highly preferred. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools. - Prior experience working with top-tier consulting firms or in client-facing transformation programs is desired. - MBA from a reputed institute with a focus on Supply Chain, Operations, or Strategy.,
