Demand Supply Planner

As an Inventory Forecasting Lead at Buildskill, your role will involve ensuring optimal inventory levels across multiple warehouses/locations to prevent products from going out of stock. You will act as the forecaster of inventory, projecting requirements for upcoming periods to align with sales targets and seasonal demand. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading inventory planning by creating replenishment schedules and monitoring order cycles. - Issuing and tracking Purchase Orders (POs), managing inventory flows, and goods in transit. - Monitoring, reporting, and minimizing ageing inventory, proactively moving slow stock. - Developing and maintaining advanced Excel/Google Sheets dashboards for real-time stock positions, movement analytics, and replenishment alerts. - Collaborating with sales teams to integrate forecasting into the overall demand plan, ensuring readiness for peak and promotional periods. - Partnering with warehouse staff, vendors, and logistics to resolve bottlenecks and secure on-time product availability. - Leveraging data insights to improve stock turns and optimize working capital. - Applying e-commerce inventory management techniques for online product listings, availability, and fulfillment accuracy. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in inventory/stock planning, preferably in e-commerce, D2C, B2B, or manufacturing backgrounds. - Proven expertise in forecasting, stock planning, and managing multi-location inventory flows. - Advanced skills in Google Sheets and Excel dashboards, including custom formulas, pivots, and automated reporting. - Detail-focused, process-oriented, and able to anticipate supply challenges before they affect operations. - Strong communication skills to align inventory strategies with sales, warehouse, finance, and operations stakeholders. - Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in inventory systems.
