Demand Planning Role - Supply Chain

Key Responsibilities
Demand Forecasting:- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for various products and regions.- Utilize statistical forecasting techniques and data analysis tools.- Incorporate market research, sales data, and customer feedback into forecasting models.Inventory Management:- Optimize inventory levels to balance supply and demand, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.- Develop inventory policies and guidelines.- Monitor inventory performance and identify areas for improvement.Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP):- Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to align demand plans with supply capabilities.- Facilitate S&OP meetings and ensure effective communication across departments.Data Analysis:- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to identify patterns and opportunities.- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure demand planning effectiveness.Process Improvement:- Continuously evaluate and improve demand planning processes and methodologies.- Implement new tools and technologies to enhance forecasting accuracy.Qualifications:- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management.- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, statistical software).- Knowledge of forecasting techniques (e.g., time series analysis, regression analysis)
