Demand Planner

As a Demand Planner at McCormick, you will execute the demand forecasting strategy for a low-volume and low complexity portfolio, responsible for <$500+ million of annual sales revenue. Your role will involve analytical mastery, statistical modeling, and strong communication skills to explain complex algorithms to cross-functional business partners. You will support the monthly Pre-Commercial Review/Consensus process within the IBP framework by owning the baseline statistical forecast. Additionally, you will play a key role in Product Life Cycle management through supply chain forecasting, error detection, and resolution. By providing accurate baseline forecasts and reducing forecast bias, you will contribute to delivering predictable financial results and meeting cost, service, and working capital goals. The working hours for this position are 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM India Time, Monday through Friday. - Maintain historical baseline data and trends, identify best-fit statistical models, and cleanse historical data to remove anomalies. - Track and manage demand KPIs to determine corrective action steps. - Communicate downstream impacts of material plan changes. - Conduct Forecast Value-Add (FVA) analysis and implementation. - Troubleshoot complex system problems and develop forecast scenarios. - Support IBP and S&OE processes. - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field. - 5+ years of planning experience with a strong understanding of demand planning processes. - Experience in statistical forecasting and knowledge of Demand Planning systems. - Proficiency in SAP, MS-Office tools, ERP packages, and other relevant IT systems. - CPG experience preferred. - Strong communication, presentation, time management, and prioritization skills. - Attention to detail and curiosity for diagnosing RCCA.,
