About the Role:

Delivery Manager – Data Science

Key Responsibilities:

Project & Delivery Management

• Own and manage the delivery of multiple

  data science and AI/ML projects

  across industries.
• Drive

  end-to-end project execution

  — from requirement gathering, data preparation, and model development to deployment and client handover.
• Define and track project plans, delivery milestones, budgets, and timelines.
• Ensure adherence to delivery standards, quality benchmarks, and SLAs.

Team Leadership & Resource Management

• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams consisting of

  data scientists, data engineers, and analysts

  .
• Manage resource allocation, team capacity, and delivery performance.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the

  primary point of contact

  for clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Translate business objectives into actionable data science solutions and measurable KPIs.
• Present project updates, insights, and outcomes to senior stakeholders and executives.

Technical & Strategic Oversight

• Collaborate with technical leads to design scalable, production-ready data science solutions.
• Guide teams in the selection of appropriate

  ML algorithms, statistical models, and analytical frameworks

  .
• Ensure robust

  data pipelines, model monitoring, and deployment practices

  are in place.
• Stay current with

  emerging trends in AI/ML, MLOps, LLMs, and data strategy

  to drive innovation.

Process Excellence & Governance

• Establish and optimize delivery frameworks using

  Agile, Kanban, or hybrid methodologies

  .
• Implement data science best practices, version control, and model governance standards.
• Track delivery metrics and ensure continuous improvement through retrospectives and process audits.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

  Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field

  .

• 10+ years

  of total experience, with at least

  4+ years

  in delivery or program management of data projects.
• Proven track record of delivering

  AI/ML, data analytics, or data engineering

  projects at scale.
• Strong understanding of data science concepts — machine learning, predictive modeling, NLP, and statistical analysis.
• Familiarity with tools and technologies such as

  Python, SQL, Spark, Databricks, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Power BI, or Tableau

  .
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience working with

  global and cross-functional teams

  in an agile environment.
• Certifications such as

  PMP, CSM, or Agile Delivery

  are preferred.

Preferred Experience:

• Exposure to

  cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

  and

  MLOps frameworks

  .
• Experience in

  data-driven digital transformation

  initiatives.
• Prior work in

  consulting or client-facing project delivery

  environments.
• Understanding of

  data governance, data privacy

  , and

  model explainability frameworks

  .
