Job Description

Role Overview

The Defect Manager will be responsible for end-to-end defect governance across the automotive software development lifecycle. This includes tracking, prioritizing, and driving closure of defects, ensuring product quality and timely release.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with testers, developers and product owners.
Ticket Management Defect Priority, Planning of the Defects.
Ensure defects are logged, assigned, tracked and closed appropriately
Reporting and Metrics Open Defects, Defect density, aging etc
Utilize and manage defect tracking tools (JIRA/KPM)
Analysis of CAN/LIN/Ethernet
Utilized JQL to trigger and manage automation processes.

Required Skill set:

Understanding of Defect Lifecycle Management.
Hands on experience in Defect tracking looks like JIRA, KPM
Proficient in designing Confluence pages integrated with dynamic dashboards
Proficiency in generating report and dashboard using Excel, Power BI, eazyBI.
Understanding of CAN/LIN/Ethernet
Automation using JQL is required.

Education

B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or related engineering fields.
