DD Trainee – Mechanical Engineer

Job Overview:

Shreeji Shipping invites fresh Mechanical Engineers to join as Dry Dock Trainees at our Sikka facility in Jamnagar. This is a practical, field-based training role focused on ship repair and dry dock operations.

✅ Note: Candidates who successfully complete the training program may be considered for permanent employment, based on performance and organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior engineers in mechanical and dry dock operations
• Observe and monitor welding work and fabrication processes
• Support in steel structure measurement, cutting, and weight calculation
• Participate in ship machinery dismantling, inspection, and reassembly
• Maintain daily logs, drawings, and site documentation
• Ensure compliance with dry dock safety standards
• Learn marine maintenance practices and assist with on-ground tasks

Eligibility Criteria:

✔ Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering

✔ Freshers are welcome

✔ Willing to work at Sikka (Jamnagar) dry dock site

✔ Good physical stamina and willingness to learn practical technical work

✔ Interest in marine, ship repair, or heavy equipment industries

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
