Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present Indian & South Indian dishes as per hotel standards.
  • Run and oversee the entire F&B production, ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and consistency.
  • Ensure proper portion control, garnishing, and presentation.
  • Maintain inventory, storage, and timely requisitions of raw materials.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Train and guide Commis and OJTs when required.
  • Coordinate with service teams for timely food dispatch.
  • Monitor wastage and implement cost-effective practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience as Commis I / DCDP in hotels.
  • Strong expertise in Indian & South Indian cuisine.
  • Ability to handle full kitchen production independently.
  • Good understanding of kitchen operations, hygiene norms, and food safety.
  • Team player with good communication and time-management skills.
