Job Summary: DB2 Developer/DBA We are looking for an experienced DB2 developer/DBA who has worked in a critical application with large sized Database. The role requires the candidate to understand the landscape of the application and the data including its topology across the Online Data store and the Data Warehousing counter parts. The challenges we strive to solve include scalability/performance related to dealing with very large data sets and multiple data sources. The role involves collaborating with global team members and provides a unique opportunity to network with a diverse group of people. The candidate who fills this role of Database developer in our team will be involved in building and creating solutions from the requirements stage through deployment. A successful candidate is self-motivated, innovative, thinks outside the box , has excellent communication skills and can work with clients and stakeholders from both the business and technology with ease.

Experience: 8-12 Yea rs
Location: Mumbai

Required Skills:

Expertise
in writing complex data retrieval queries, stored procs and performance tuning.

Experience in migrating large scale database from Sybase to a new tech stack.

Expertise in relational DB: Sybase, AZURE SQL Server, DB2 and nosgl databases.

Strong knowledge in Linux Shell Scripting Working knowledge of Python programming.

Working knowledge of Informatica.

Good knowledge of Auto-sys or any such scheduling tool.

Detail oriented, ability to turn deliverables around quickly with high degree of accuracy.
