Job Title DB2 Database Admin Responsibilities Roles and Responsibilities: Set up and support HA/DR solutions/ replication Lead efforts related to system and SQL performance tuning, index/ partition creation and management Set up log shipping, Mirroring/log forwarding, analyzing traces Architect, Design, Implement, Administer database consolidation platforms Perform duties including monitoring, software installs and upgrades, scripting, automation, incident response and documentation Perform DB restores and point-in-time recoveryIf you think you fit right in to help our clients navigate their next in their digital transformation journey, this is the place for you! Technical and Professional Requirements: IBM DB2 experience, with advanced knowledge in the following:oBufferpool/ memory managementoDB2 internal structuresoTablespace/Page structuresoBackup/recovery/logging facilities and strategiesoDB2 lockingoDB2 tracingoDatabase diagnostic tools Preferred Skills: Technology->Database Administration->DB2 on Open Systems - UDB->DB2 on cloud Technology->Database administration->DB2 Administration Technology->AS/400 technologies->DB2 400 Additional Responsibilities: Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc. Hands on experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Solid understanding of how indexes, index management, integrity checks, configuration, patching.
