DataStage Developer (Saranya POC)

Requires a Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.

1+ years of experience in production support.

Provide production support for all ETL jobs and data workflows built on IBM DataStage.

Monitor production ETL processes using scheduling and monitoring tools to proactively identify and prevent potential failures.

Respond to and resolve production incidents, job failures, and data discrepancies within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring or critical issues and implement permanent fixes or preventative measures.

Execute immediate workarounds and manual restarts/reruns of DataStage jobs as necessary to minimize data load delays.

Participate in an on-call rotation to address critical production issues outside of normal business hours.

Experience with Data Warehousing, Operational Data Store, Data technologies and ETL solutions.

ith Python/Scala using Spark framework.

• Delivering all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, integration testing, deployment, operations support, and documentation using Agile methodologies.
