Data/Information Mgt Analyst

Role Overview: You will be part of the DQM team at AIM, responsible for managing the implementation of data quality measurement programs for the US region's retail consumer bank. Your role will involve supporting critical areas such as regulatory compliance, data quality rules design, data governance, scorecard preparation, issue management, and audit support. Key Responsibilities: - Execute business data quality measurements in alignment with regulatory programs like CCAR, AML, etc. - Design data quality rules, identify critical data elements, and validate rules through testing. - Standardize data definitions and ensure consistency in measurement across systems, products, and regions. - Publish monthly/quarterly scorecards at the product level and prepare executive summary reports for senior management. - Identify defects, investigate root causes of issues, and follow up with stakeholders for resolution within SLA. - Support audit processes by identifying cases on control gaps, policy breaches, and providing data evidence for audit completion. Qualifications Required: - Possess analytical skills for data analysis and visualization, with the ability to formulate analytical methodology, identify trends, and generate actionable business insights. - Proficiency in tools like SAS or SQL, as well as MS Excel, is preferred. - Domain expertise in data definitions, data discovery, data quality framework, data governance, data warehouse knowledge, and understanding of finance regulations or retail business. - Demonstrate soft skills such as problem-solving, communication, interpersonal skills, process management, and teamwork abilities. - Educational background in MBA, Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Engineering (BTech/B.E), or related fields from a premier institute. - Post-graduate qualifications in Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Econometrics, Management Science, etc., are preferred. - 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in delivering data quality solutions is required.
