Job Description

Good number of years of experience in Oracle and MS SQL Server Database Administration, preferable 10+ years. Strong experience on Migrations and Upgrades for the ongoing upgrade/migration project. Good experience on Unix/Linux administration is preferred, this is needed for the upgrade/migration project. Hands-on experience on DB BAU related tasks of both Oracle and MS SQL Server, performance tuning, user management, refreshes. Strong experience on Netapp / SMO / SnapManager / SnapCenter for Linux/Windows. Strong experience of UNIX shell/Python/PowerShell scripting. Strong experience with Grid Control OEM 13c. Operations: Manage and mentor the team associates related to technical as well as process. Manage DB assets, reports related to the agreed contractual SLAs. Join the MIM calls related to databases and handle them as per process. Audit the databases every month/quarter as per needs, to maintain them as per clients policies. Implement and suggest security policies to the client. Ability to work across other infrastructure teams is imperative.
