About the Role

Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, preprocess, and analyze structured and unstructured data.
  
• Develop predictive models and machine learning solutions to address business challenges.
  
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends and patterns.
  
• Build and optimize algorithms for classification, regression, clustering, and forecasting.
  
• Create data visualizations and dashboards to clearly communicate findings.
  
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to integrate models into production.
  
• Evaluate model performance and continuously improve accuracy and efficiency.
  
• Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  
• Stay updated on emerging ML techniques, tools, and industry best practices.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in

  Python

  or

  R

  for data analysis and model building.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g.,

  Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch

  ).
• Solid understanding of

  statistics, probability, and mathematical modeling

  .
• Experience with

  data processing tools

  (Pandas, NumPy, SQL).
• Expertise in data visualization using

  Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, Power BI

  , or similar tools.
• Familiarity with large datasets and tools like

  Spark, Databricks

  , or Hadoop (optional).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business problems into analytical tasks.
  
• Experience with version control tools (Git).
  

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of

  NLP, Computer Vision

  , or deep learning techniques.
• Experience deploying models using

  MLFlow, Docker, FastAPI

  , or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Understanding of

  data engineering pipelines

  , ETL workflows, and MLOps concepts.
• Experience with BI tools or dashboard building (Tableau, Power BI).
  
• Familiarity with experimentation (A/B testing, statistical significance testing).
  

Education

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
