Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

* Design, develop, test, and deploy Oracle databases for various applications.
* Optimize database performance by analyzing queries, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements.
* Develop stored procedures and PL/SQL scripts to automate database tasks and enhance data management.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of databases with other systems.

* Knowledge of database modeling and optimization techniques. Must be able to map business requirements to database models/ERD.

* Maintain database development guidelines and standards.

* Expert knowledge of, Oracle Database and working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and IBM Db2.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to understand complex problems, and to generate appropriate technical solutions.

Desired Candidate Profile

* 7-12 years of experience in Oracle Development or Database Development.
* Strong expertise in Oracle Development tools such as SQL Developer, PL/SQL Developer, etc.
* Proficiency in Database Design principles including normalization, denormalization, partitioning, etc.
