Database Developer

You will be working as a Software Engineer or Sr. Software Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience and any graduate degree. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with the development team in developing, implementing, and managing database models for core product development. This includes writing SQL database views, tables, and stored procedures to support engineering product development. You will also be tasked with designing and maintaining SSIS, T-SQL, and SQL jobs, as well as developing and maintaining complex stored procedures for loading data into staging tables from OLTP and other intermediary systems. Your role will involve analysis, design specifications, development, implementation, and maintenance of the database, including designing partitioning of the database for Archive data. Ensuring adherence to best practices and standards for tools like SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Excel Power Pivot/View/Map in Data Analytics solutions design will be crucial. Documentation of complex processes, business requirements, and specifications will also be one of your responsibilities. In terms of technical skills, you should have experience in database design, normalization, query design, and performance tuning. Proficiency in writing complex Transact SQL code, MS SQL Server query tuning, and writing stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers is essential. Experience in Indexes, column store index, SQL server column storage, Query execution plan, providing authentication and authorizations for Database, developing best practices for database design and development activities, experience in database migration activities, and strong analytical, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills are required for this role.,
