Database Architect

This is an opportunity to work with one of our clients in Hyderabad. As a Database Design and Architecture professional, you will play a crucial role in designing and architecting complex database systems to meet business needs and technical requirements. Your responsibilities will include developing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for high-performance solutions. You will lead the team in database architecture design, optimization, and maintenance, providing guidance on query optimization, performance tuning, and database indexing strategies. Collaboration with clients is essential to understand their business requirements and deliver tailored database solutions. You will oversee ETL processes using SSIS for effective data integration and utilize Power BI and DAX queries for data reporting and analysis. In addition, mentoring junior developers and leading the team in adopting best practices for database design and development will be part of your role. Ensuring alignment with database design principles, normalization, and industry standards is crucial for success in this position. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in Database Design & Architecture, focusing on relational database systems like SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL. Hands-on experience in Duck Creek Insights and the insurance domain would be advantageous. Strong proficiency in SQL, stored procedures, and function development is required, along with expertise in query optimization, performance tuning, and indexing. Leadership skills, client relationship management, and delivering high-quality solutions are also essential qualities for this position. Familiarity with ETL tools such as SSIS, experience in data integration, knowledge of Power BI, and proficiency in DAX queries for reporting and analytics are additional qualifications needed for this role.
