Database Architect

We are seeking an experienced Database Architect to design and optimize enterprise-grade database solutions across on-premises and cloud environments. The role involves defining scalable architectures, ensuring high availability, and driving automation for mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement solutions for Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB and ElasticSearch
• Design cloud-native database architectures leveraging AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Ensure performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery strategies
• Lead data migration, integration, and automation initiatives using scripting and modern tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and optimized data platforms
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to database teams

Requirements

• 14-18 years of general IT experience
• 10+ years of experience in database engineering or cloud infrastructure roles with leadership exposure
• Expertise in relational and NoSQL databases
• Strong knowledge of cloud database services, high availability, and backup/recovery
• Hands-on experience in performance optimization, troubleshooting, and analytics
• Proficiency in automation and scripting for operational efficiency
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) at a minimum B2 level
