Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, monitor, and maintain

  MS SQL Server

  databases.
• Perform backups, restores, disaster recovery, and replication.
• Optimize performance via indexing, query tuning, and resource monitoring.
• Manage security, access controls, and compliance.
• Work with developers on database design and optimization.
• Support

  Snowflake

  for data integration, migration, and analytics.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues.

Required Skills:

• 6+ years

  as an

  MS SQL Server DBA

  (2012/2014/2016/2019).
• Strong

  T-SQL

  and performance tuning experience.
• Hands-on with high availability solutions (AlwaysOn, clustering, log shipping).
• Exposure to

  Snowflake

  (schema design, tuning, data loading).
• Knowledge of ETL tools (SSIS) and cloud DB environments.

Preferred:

• Microsoft SQL Server or Snowflake certification.
• PowerShell scripting and automation skills.

Qualification:

• Bachelors in Computer Science/IT or equivalent experience.
