Data Warehouse Specialist

Role Overview: As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate with various teams to deliver solutions on the Azure Cloud utilizing core cloud data warehouse tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL DW, and other Big Data related technologies. Your primary focus will involve constructing the next generation of application data platforms and enhancing recent implementations. It is important to note that this position is geared towards data engineering from the application side, requiring the ability to analyze data and devise strategies for data lake population. You may also be tasked with intricate coding using U-SQL, Scala or Python, and T-SQL. Key Responsibilities: - Work collaboratively as part of a team to create Cloud Data and Analytics solutions - Engage in the development of cloud data warehouses, data as a service, and business intelligence solutions - Conduct data wrangling activities on heterogeneous data sources - Provide forward-thinking solutions in the realm of data and analytics - Ensure the delivery of high-quality products - Code complex scripts in U-SQL, Spark (Scala or Python), and T-SQL - Develop Modern Data Warehouse solutions utilizing Azure Stack (Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks) Qualifications: - Proficiency in any ETL tool (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, Data Stage) - Ability to implement Data warehousing Solutions effectively - Previous experience as a Data Engineer in an Azure Big Data Environment - Proficient in programming languages such as Scala or Python, as well as SQL - Hands-on experience with Azure stack (Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks) is mandatory - Solid understanding of other Azure services like Azure Data Lake Analytics & U-SQL, Azure SQL DW - Familiarity with the Azure Databricks platform and capable of building data analytics solutions to meet performance and scale requirements - Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in a big data environment - Good grasp of Modern Data Warehouse/Lambda Architecture and Data warehousing concepts,
