About the Role

Senior Data Warehouse Specialist

You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand complex financial concepts and translate them into scalable, performant data models. You'll also play a hands-on role in building and maintaining our data pipelines and warehouse infrastructure on Microsoft Fabric.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop dimensional data models to support financial reporting and broader analytics.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines using SQL, Python, and dbt.
• Work with Microsoft Fabric OneLake and related technologies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand financial concepts and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across the warehouse.
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices for data warehousing.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in data warehousing and dimensional modelling, ideally within financial services.
• Strong proficiency in

  SQL

  ,

  Python

  and

  PowerBI

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Azure Synapse Analytics

  ,

  Databricks

  and/or

  Microsoft Fabric

  , or equivalent analytics technologies.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex problems.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts and how they translate into data models.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
