To drive this vision forward and scale it further, OnGrid is seeking a motivated Senior AI Engineer who possesses experience in developing high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. As a Senior AI Engineer at OnGrid, your key responsibilities will include collaborating with product and tech teams to shape and enhance the AI strategy and R&D efforts, contributing to significant AI use cases for both internal and client applications, developing AI/ML solutions for complex problems while upholding ethical standards, conducting research in areas like computer vision, NLP, Gen AI, and deep learning, as well as integrating and optimizing AI models in production systems using real-time data. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a specialization in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence being advantageous. A minimum of 3+ years of practical experience in solving real-world AI challenges is required, focusing on various areas such as Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Object Detection, NLP, Generative AI, RAG, LLMs, and AI agents. Proficiency in Python programming, experience with frameworks like Django and Flask, Java knowledge, familiarity with Microservices Architecture, and exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud are desirable qualifications. In terms of technical expertise, the candidate should have hands-on experience with vision models such as YOLO, ResNet, and OCR, expertise in generative AI models and LLMs like Claude, LLaMA, Qwen, Mistral, etc., and proficiency in using frameworks and tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, PydanticAI, OpenCV, Django, Flask, Postman, Docker, Swagger, AWS, and GCP. Furthermore, a strong understanding of GPU-accelerated training, deployment of AI models in production environments, and advanced AI concepts like convolutional neural networks, transformer architectures, and data preparation pipelines is essential.
