Data Scientist

Role Overview: At Improzo, as a Data Scientist in Pune, you will be responsible for driving insights for pharma clients using advanced ML, Gen AI, and LLMs on complex healthcare data. Your main focus will be on optimizing Pharma commercial strategies (forecasting, marketing, SFE) and improving patient outcomes (journey mapping, adherence, RWE). Key Responsibilities: - Engage with client/business stakeholders to deeply understand their challenges and strategic objectives. - Clean and prepare large, complex datasets from various sources such as sales data, prescription data, claims data, Electronic Health Records (EHRs), and more. - Translate ambiguous business problems into well-defined data science questions and develop analytical frameworks. - Design, develop, validate, and deploy robust statistical models and machine learning algorithms for predictive analysis, clustering, time series analysis, etc. - Analyze promotional effectiveness and patient persistency/adherence. - Extract insights from unstructured text data and develop intelligent search or Q&A systems. - Transform analytical findings into clear, concise narratives and actionable recommendations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support the entire data science lifecycle. Qualifications: - Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. - 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry. - Strong programming skills in Python and/or R, expertise in SQL, and experience with machine learning frameworks. - Proficiency in data visualization tools and cloud platforms. - Specific experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and Generative AI models is highly desirable. - Experience with MLOps practices and tools. - Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance requirements. - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
