Essential Duties Responsibilities:
o Perform basic descriptive data analysiso Implement and assess different ways of data transformationo Formulate business problems into math/statistics/machine-learning problemso Build math/statistics/machine-learning models in a scientific wayo Carry out hypothesis tests in a scientific wayo Do model selection and model diagnosticso Actively participate in research meetingso Support the research team by creating desired datasets

Qualifications:
o Good communication skillso Excellent analytical and data science skills with strong attention to detailo Good Python programmers with good knowledge of pandas/numpy/sklearno Graduate level math and statistics knowledge is preferred o Knowledge in machine learning, NLP knowledge is a pluso Ability to communicate complex information clearlyo Ability to work independentlyo Team player and open to new ideas
