About the Role:

NPCI is looking for a Data Scientist to join our AI team focused on fraud detection, money mule detection, and anti-money laundering (AML).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy ML/DL models for fraud detection and risk assessment
• Build and optimize Graph Neural Networks (GNN, GCN, GAT) for fraud pattern recognition
• Utilize Transformers and LLMs for anomaly detection in financial transactions
• Apply supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning techniques for real-time fraud detection
• Implement GPU-accelerated AI training and inference using CUDA, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
• Process large-scale transaction data using SQL and Python on high-performance computing (GPU/CPU) environments
• Design feature engineering pipelines for risk profiling and financial crime analytics
• Research and implement advanced AI algorithms to improve fraud prevention strategies
• Collaborate with risk, compliance, and technology teams to enhance AML systems
