We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Data Scientist to join the Intelligent Procurement initiative. This role will be pivotal in designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML solutions that drive procurement transformation within the company.

About the Role

This role will be pivotal in designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML solutions that drive procurement transformation within Schneider GSC.

Responsibilities

• Develop and operationalize AI/ML models for Intelligent procurement platform by leveraging AWS cloud services, databricks, Langchain & Langraph.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for structured and unstructured data ingestion, preprocessing, and transformation.
• Implement and manage MLOps workflows including model lifecycle, observability, and explainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (analytics, business, infra) across phases: discovery, design, development, validation, deployment, and governance.
• Contribute to the AgentOps ecosystem: prompt registry, memory management, and agent configuration.
• Ensure compliance with governance, risk, and audit protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in applied machine learning, statistical modeling, and data engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Experience with tools such as SageMaker, LangChain, Bedrock, OpenSearch, and Terraform.
• Strong understanding of procurement domain data: supplier performance, pricing trends, risk indicators etc.
• Familiarity with GenAI applications, semantic similarity, and graph-based recommendations.

Required Skills

• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks and multi-agent orchestration.
• Knowledge of procurement systems like Coupa, Synertrade and SirionLabs.
• Ability to design and implement continuous learning systems and feedback loops.

Hybrid work model with presence in Bengaluru office preferred.
