About Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging data science training sessions (in-person and/or online) for college students, covering fundamentals and advanced topics (programming, statistics, machine learning, data visualization, etc.).
• Manage and mentor industrial or capstone projects for students: liaise with industry partners, define project scope, plan tasks, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of real-world projects.
• Provide one-on-one counseling and academic guidance to prospective and current students, including career advice, curriculum explanation, and addressing student queries.
• Handle the student enrollment process independently: follow up on leads, explain program details, and convert interested candidates into enrolled students, thereby contributing to revenue targets.
• Develop and update training materials and curriculum to reflect the latest data science tools, technologies, and industry trends.
• Assess student progress through evaluations, projects, and exams, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (admissions, marketing, curriculum development) to align training objectives with company goals and student needs.
• Work autonomously without constant supervision, effectively managing your schedule and responsibilities while meeting training and enrollment milestones.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in data science programming languages (e.g. Python, R, SQL) and experience with machine learning libraries/frameworks (e.g. scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong statistical knowledge and hands-on experience with data analysis techniques and data visualization tools (e.g. Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau).
• Proven project management and organizational skills, including planning, executing, and delivering projects on time and within scope.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and engagingly.
• Strong counseling and mentoring abilities; comfortable guiding and motivating students through their educational journey.
• Self-motivated and independent work style, with exceptional time management and problem-solving skills.
• Prior experience teaching or mentoring college-level students is preferred.
• Familiarity with educational technology and online teaching platforms (learning management systems, video conferencing tools, etc.) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or a related industry role (training experience is a strong advantage).
• Prior experience in an educational or training environment (college/university level) is preferred.
• Strong academic track record or demonstrated project portfolio, and a passion for teaching and continuous learning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
