Data Science Manager

Qualifications:

• Graduate degree in quantitative field (CS, statistics, applied math, ML, etc.)
  
• Strong Python programming skills with expertise in libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn
  
• Experience with SQL, Excel, Tableau/Power BI, PowerPoint
  
• Predictive modeling expertise (Time Series, Multivariable, Causal models)
  
• Proficient in applying and tuning various ML techniques
  
• Skilled in building scalable systems for large datasets and KPI-driven analysis
  
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  
• Adaptable to fast-paced, multi-project environments
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate a cross-functional team of Data Engineers, Analysts, and Data Scientists
  
• Engage with internal/external stakeholders to gather business requirements and data
  
• Develop project plans and manage sprints to meet milestones and deliverables
  
• Set up and optimize cloud infrastructure (VMs, clusters) for DS workflows
  
• Build robust data pipelines and ensure data quality through validation
  
• Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), feature engineering, and define metrics before model building
  
• Research existing solutions prior to building ML/DL models tailored for business goals
  
• Optimize data models and efficiently query large datasets
  
• Develop, validate, and scale ML/DL algorithms and integrate them into client systems
  
• Create user-friendly applications and scenario simulators for business consumption of outputs
  
• Write test cases, debug, and ensure production-quality code
  
• Document all project details and track issues or exceptions
  
• Measure impact on business metrics and refine processes based on feedback
