Data Science Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Research and develop statistical learning models, algorithms for data analysis.
• Implement new statistical or other mathematical methodologies as needed for specific models or analysis.
• Assess efficiency of the model with different data sets and communicate results and ideas to key decision makers. Optimize the solution based on insights derived.
• Optimize joint development efforts through appropriate database use and project plan.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering departments to understand problem statement and devise possible solutions.
• Keep up-to-date with latest technology trends.

Job Requirement -

• 2 -4 years of work experience in programming in Python/R etc.
• A good knowledge for SQL / Java technologies will be an added advantage.
• Bachelors / Masters Degree in Computer Science, Data science, Statistics, applied Math or related field.
• Excellent logical thinking, application of knowledge and programming capabilities.
• Able to understand various data structures and common methods in data transformation.
• A team player with good communication skills
• Should be able to work in a dynamic work environment and with cross-functional teams
• Excellent pattern recognition and predictive modeling skills
