Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Data Science Faculty to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in computer science and data science principles, with prior experience in teaching or working in the data science industry. This role involves teaching undergraduate students, curriculum development, mentoring students, and participating in departmental activities. Key Responsibilities: Teach core and advanced data science subjects such as Python for Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Data Visualization, etc. Prepare course materials, lecture notes, assignments, and assessments. Conduct practical sessions, lab activities, and hands-on projects. Guide and mentor students in academic projects and research work. Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate relevant advancements in teaching. Collaborate with colleagues for academic and extracurricular activities. Participate in seminars, workshops, and faculty development programs as required. Required Qualifications & Skills: Education: B.Sc. in Computer Science or above (M.Sc./M.Tech/PhD preferred). Experience: Minimum 1 year of teaching or industry experience in Data Science. Strong knowledge of Python, Machine Learning, Data Analysis, and related tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib). Familiarity with real-world applications of data science. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to engage and inspire students effectively. Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory): Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) or data engineering tools. Certifications in Data Science, Machine Learning, or related areas. Experience with project-based or outcome-based education models. Remuneration: As per college norms and candidate’s experience.
