Data Reporting Analyst

As a BI and Reporting Specialist at Hogarth, you will be responsible for delivering a suite of standardised and ad hoc reports through our BI and reporting platform while utilizing best practices for data visualisation. Your expertise will be crucial in translating business needs into design, developing tools, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization. You will play a key role in developing efficient data models for reporting and analytics using a modern data stack, identifying data quality issues, and suggesting improvements related to data governance and best practices. In this role, you will support the modelling of data to facilitate medium to long-term decision-making for the team and leadership community. It will be your responsibility to validate the presence and accuracy of data before its use within a report, maintain technical documentation, and provide data management support to users. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining accurate reporting delivery plans, timelines, and provide feedback to the delivery team. To excel in this position, you must have previous experience in a similar role, ideally working in a Data team of a large company, preferably with a background in the Creative or Media environment. Proficiency in various data systems, ETL processes, multi-channel analytics tools and platforms, as well as strong use of BI tools like MS Power BI, MS Power Automate, Thoughtspot, and Tableau is essential. A solid understanding of SQL, data warehouse structure principles, database modelling, and experience working with agile methodologies such as Scrum/Kanban is required. Your role will also involve collaborating as a team player with excellent interpersonal skills in an intercultural working environment. Excellent communication skills, the ability to present technical matters in a comprehensible way to non-technical stakeholders, problem-solving attitude, and fluency in Business English are necessary for success in this position. While not mandatory, experience in Javascript, knowledge of media performance metrics and reporting solutions, gathering and analyzing system requirements, and familiarity with Jira and other project/task management tools would be advantageous.
