Job Description

Senior Data Modeler

Key Responsibilities:

Develop
conceptual, logical, and physical data models
to support business objectives.

Utilize industry-leading
data modeling tools
(e.g., ERwin, Enterprise Architect, SQL Server Data Tools) to design and implement data structures.

Work closely with
business analysts, data architects, and project managers
to gather requirements and ensure alignment between data models and business goals.

Design and optimize
relational and non-relational databases
for insurance-related systems, including
Core Finance, Credit Card, Underwriting, Claims, and Policy Management
.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
establish data governance standards
and ensure compliance with enterprise data architecture.

Lead discussions on
data architecture and modeling best practices
within the organization.

Qualifications & Skills:

10+ years of IT experience
, with at least
5 years of relevant data modeling experience
.

Strong expertise in
enterprise data modeling
, with experience in
insurance-specific data structures
.

Proficiency in
data modeling tools
such as ERwin, Enterprise Architect, and SQL Server Data Tools.

In-depth knowledge of
relational and non-relational databases
.

Experience in
data governance, data architecture, and ensuring data integrity
.

Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with
stakeholders across business and IT teams
.

Leadership experience in driving
data modeling discussions and best practices
.
