Senior Data Modeler / Data Architect

• Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models

  based on business and technical requirements.



• Design data marts and enterprise-scale data warehouses

  , ensuring scalability, performance, and integrity.


• Collaborate with

  database administrators (DBAs) and data engineers

  to translate models into

  physical database structures

  .


• Define and enforce

  data modeling standards, naming conventions, and best practices

  .


• Work with business users to

  gather requirements and build scalable data model designs

  .


• Ensure data models

  support operational and analytical reporting

  needs, including

  OLTP and OLAP modeling

  .


• Utilize

  Snowflake Data Cloud

  for data warehousing and analytics solutions.


• Use

  data modeling tools

  such as

  SQL DBM, ERwin, or ER/Studio

  , with experience in

  Model Mart management

  being a plus.


• Provide

  guidance on best practices and performance-efficient models

  .


• Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to

  non-technical stakeholders and senior decision-makers

  .


• Assess

  data quality, consistency, and reliability

  from multiple sources, ensuring high-quality enterprise data solutions.


• Document

  processes, system architecture, and design principles

  in alignment with SDLC methodologies.

  Required Skills & Experience:

  
  



• 10+ years of total experience

  , with

  5-6 years

  as a

  Data Modeler or Data Architect

  .


• Strong expertise in

  SQL and dimensional modeling

  .


• Experience in

  OLTP and OLAP data modeling

  .


• Proficiency in

  enterprise-scale data warehouse and data mart design

  .


• Hands-on experience with

  Snowflake Data Cloud

  .


• Proficiency in at least one

  data modeling tool

  (e.g.,

  ERwin, SQL DBM, ER/Studio

  ).


• Experience working with

  Oracle and SQL Server databases

  is preferred.


• Knowledge of

  Informatica PowerCenter

  is a plus.


• Strong

  communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

  .


• Ability to

  coordinate information requirements across multiple departments

  and ensure

  clean, reliable data integration

  .
