Job Summary

A Data Modeler with cloud experience designs, develops, and implements data models within cloud environments like Azure or AWS, focusing on data structure, relationships, and performance for cloud data platforms and warehouses. This role requires expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, proficiency in cloud services such as Azure Data Factory or AWS Redshift, and skills in data modeling tools like erwin, along with understanding data governance and security best practices in a cloud context. Key Responsibilities: Data Modeling: Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models that define data structures, objects, and relationships to meet business requirements. Cloud Platform Expertise: Implement and optimize data models within cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), leveraging cloud native services and architectures. Data Warehousing: Design and maintain data warehouses and data lakes to support analytics and reporting, often involving ETL/ELT processes. Data Governance & Security: Ensure data governance, quality, and security best practices are applied within the cloud data models. Tooling: Use data modeling tools like Erwin, ER/Studio, or others to create and manage data models.
