Data Modeler

You will be working as a Data Modeler (Core) + DQ Analyst at Kamlax Global Technologies, where you will be responsible for maintaining the common data model and data quality of the insurance data platform. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that the data structures meet the business's requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Define and develop data modelling practices, standards, and guidelines. - Create and manage conceptual, logical, and physical data models and metadata. - Collaborate with data analysts to define data requirements and design data models. - Work with the development team to ensure that the database design aligns with application needs. - Conduct data analysis and quality assurance to maintain data integrity and consistency. - Implement database schema changes and modifications. - Document data models, metadata, data flows, data dictionaries, data standards, and processes. - Provide technical support and guidance to users. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in data modelling. - Proficiency in data modelling tools such as ERwin or equivalent. - Experience in data quality analysis using SQL. - Familiarity with data warehouse design using databases like Oracle, MS SQL Server, or MySQL, including performance evaluation and tuning. - Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts. - Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.,
