Join our Finance Team and advance your career as a Data Modeler Company:** BP Business Sol (HC) - Job Summary As a Data Modeler at BP Business Sol (HC), you will be instrumental in crafting, developing, and maintaining robust data models that support our critical business operations and pivotal initiatives. You will translate sophisticated business requirements into efficient and scalable data solutions, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for insightful analysis. Responsibilities * Compose, develop, and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models for various business domains, aligning with enterprise data architecture standards. * Collaborate with business partners and technical teams to gather and understand data requirements, ensuring models accurately reflect business processes and needs. * Perform in-depth data analysis to identify data sources, relationships, and transformations vital for effective data modeling. * Agility core practices throughout the data modeling lifecycle, encouraging iterative development and continuous improvement. * Facilitate effective communication with technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex data concepts into concise and understandable terms. * Integrate new data models with existing systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and compatibility. * Manage strategic partnerships with data consumers and producers to ensure data models meet evolving business demands. * Conduct research and gather insights on industry standard processes and emerging data modeling technologies. * Identify and mitigate data-related risks, contributing to a robust data governance framework. * Actively engage and manage customers across various groups, building positive relationships and encouraging collaboration. * Demonstrate strong commercial acuity in crafting data solutions that deliver tangible business value and support strategic objectives. * Develop a culture of creativity and innovation in data modeling approaches, seeking out new and efficient ways to organize and present data. * Consider sustainability awareness and its implications in data model design, promoting efficient resource utilization and responsible data practices. Qualifications * Demonstrable experience as a Data Modeler or in a similar role with a good understanding of various data modeling techniques (e.g., relational, dimensional, NoSQL). * Showed skill in Agility core practices, including Agile methodologies and tools. * Exceptional analytical thinking skills with the ability to break down sophisticated problems and propose effective data solutions. * Excellent collaboration and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. * Strong commercial competence and understanding of how data contributes to business value. * Ability to demonstrate creativity and innovation in problem-solving and data model design. * Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. * Experience with data integration processes and tools. * Demonstrable ability to lead strategic partnerships and collaborator relationships. * Experience in conducting research and bringing to bear insights for informed decision-making. * Solid grasp of risk management principles as they to data. * Demonstrated success in partner engagement and management. * Awareness of sustainability principles and their application within data management and technology.
