Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Lead and execute data migration activities from MS Dynamics AX 2009 to D365 FO.
Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading using SQL, Excel, Python, and ETL tools.
Work extensively with D365 FO Data Management Framework (DMF) / Data Management Workspace for import/export operations.
Collaborate with functional/technical consultants and business users for requirement gathering, strategy planning, and documentation of migration processes.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration lifecycle.
Provide post-migration support by troubleshooting and resolving migration-related issues.
Develop reusable scripts and automate data validation processes where possible.
Work across Finance & SCM modules within D365 FO for data entity management.

Preferred candidate profile

Proven experience in
end-to-end data migration
projects, preferably from
AX 2009 to D365FO
.
Strong expertise in
SQL (SSMS)
, data extraction, cleansing, and validation.
Hands-on experience with
ETL/data migration tools
and scripting (Python preferred).
Solid understanding of
D365 FO modules
(Finance, SCM) and
data entities
.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
